SCOPE OF THE ROLE:

We are looking for a hands-on research practitioner who can help us build-out, scale, lead and run our pharma research division.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

You are an industry expert, highly regarded and well respected in the pharma research space.

You know the players, you know the competition, you can sell AND you can do the research.

You know the process, the procedures, and the requirements to build out a pharma research practice within an existing, full-service insights firm.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

Practitioner: Hands-on research practitioner involved in ALL phases a research project

Pharma: The majority of your market research experience is pharma focused and on the supplier-side.

Strategic Client Partner: Experience going beyond the insights. Making sense of the data within the context of your client's business to deliver unique insights & strategic recommendations.

Leader: Exp. hiring/mentoring/managing a team of researchers, PMs, field, etc.

Work: Must be well versed in quant/qual, brand research, new product development research, product launch, pre/post launch, messaging, positioning, and much more…

Business Development: Must be a proven business developer, new and/or existing business.

REQUIREMENTS:  before you apply, pls make sure you meet the non-negotiable criteria listed below.

___ Supplier-side: 15 years of exp working at a custom/full-service research supplier conducting pharma market research (all done in-house)

___ Quant/Qual: 15+ years of custom, primary, quantitative and qualitative market research

___ Business Development: 10 years of business development (new logos and growing existing accounts)

___ Team Leader: At least 7 years of managing research teams as your direct reports (hiring, terminating, performance measuring, mentoring, developing)

___ Moderator: Exp. moderating focus groups (prior or past experience)

___ Location:in office 3 times p/wkin NYC, DC, Plano, TX or Los Angeles. Open-to-Relo? State that in your resume.
