Overview
POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Sr. Analyst, Global Consumer and Member Insights will be responsible for overseeing the execution and analysis of custom marketing research projects from inception through reporting, with some supervision on design and analytics. This includes the drafting and analysis of research reports, complete with recommendations.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Perform reliable estimates of market sizes for existing and emerging category types using secondary and qualitative primary research
Provide trend analysis related to business, societal changes, and demographic areas (e.g., generational cohorts)
Develop in-depth reports in key business areas including projected market size, trends, and key players within the area
Develop and maintain in-depth resources containing information on areas of key priority to Herbalife Nutrition
Conduct in-depth data analyses using traditional and advanced methods •
Provide quick turnaround on ad hoc requests for topline information on a specific topic
Build relationships with external partners, including managing quality control and providing clear instructions to vendors
Create reports with guidance, including writing, analysis, chart/table creation in Excel or PowerPoint, and following direction over creation of certain identified sections of the report, including actionable recommendations
With direction and support, assist with writing questions for discussion guides and survey questionnaires
Able to effectively problem solve logistical issues and adjust on the fly.
Proactively identify issues and suggest solution on how to make projects run more smoothly
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills:
Ability to perform market research and analysis
Ability to provide quick-turnaround research on simple reference requests
Extensive knowledge of secondary research techniques including resource identification, evaluation, triangulation, and interpretation• Experience evaluating the authority of source data
Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
Excellent PowerPoint skills and ability to create slides/graphs/charts that convey key research findings in compelling ways.
Exceptional written, oral, and presentation communication abilities.
Personal accountability and strong work ethic.
Experience:
4-6 years relevant work experience
Able to manage multiple projects, ideally with high levels of data and detail
Experience with one or more of the following secondary data sources – Statista, Factiva, GlobalData, Euromonitor, Mintel
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills – strong in Excel & PowerPoint
Experience in estimating market and category sizes
Experience in trend identification and analysis using secondary sources
Familiarity with basic statistical analysis techniques
Extensive knowledge of secondary resources related to business, society, and demography
Experience in compiling information and putting together reports
Experience in data analysis and with data analysis tools/programs
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (Business, Marketing, Liberal Arts) or related fields
