Research Analyst, North America

Salary: $70,000–$90,000


The Research Analyst for North America will work in conjunction with the Senior Research Manager to execute research essential to Viking’s growth. He or she will be responsible for supporting market research and insights across qualitative and quantitative primary research, as well as secondary research, to help the business identify new areas of opportunity, including product, experience, and marketing enhancements.

• Support primary research end-to-end, including acting as a quality control check for surveys (looking for typos, consistency with previous surveys, logic issues, etc.) and reports (checking for typos, checking data to source, ensuring titles and questions referenced are accurately represented)
• Lead survey development efforts for small-scale surveys, including 1) writing surveys in word based on a detailed outline 2) programming surveys in Qualtrics and 3) programming checking surveys in Qualtrics
• Lead recruitment and incentive fulfilment efforts for qualitative projects, including pulling sample list, sending invitation emails, setting up groups in Discuss.io platform, ensuring respondents successfully complete their technical check in a timely fashion, downloading group recordings and transcripts, and handling incentive fulfilment

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years' experience in consumer insights, market research, analytics
• Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality results, with the ability to be flexible and pivot when needed
• Excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• History of strong interpersonal skills and being a team player who quickly builds trust and credibility through relationships
• Experience managing projects and research vendors, with experience proactively identifying both problems and solutions
• Significant experience with PowerPoint and excel required
• Experience Qualtrics or another similar programming platform required
• Experience with SPSS is beneficial, but not required
