Job Summary:
InCrowd Qual Team is seeking an experienced Qualitative Research Manager. The focus of this Qualitative Research Manager position is to provide full-service, top to bottom qualitative research development and management, while learning and reflecting the InCrowd positioning of agility and “speed to insight”. The ideal candidate will be a creative, resourceful, and passionate qualitative researcher and moderator with deep experience in the life-sciences, including moderating interviews with physicians, patients, payers, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. This researcher will also be technologically savvy, able to learn and use the InCrowd Interview qualitative research platform. This role can be remote or in Watertown, MA.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in consultative client discussions, and support the Sales Team, to uncover business needs and identify research objectives
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, remaining actively engaged with each to facilitate milestone success or project plan pivots as needed.
• Implement projects from start to finish with excellence for each client
• Use healthcare experience to create screening instruments and discussion guides that will elicit on-strategy insights
• Moderate interviews with HCPs and patients depending upon project needs; or manage contract moderator as needed
• Write topline summary reports and full PPT deliverables that are engaging, clear and concise
• Work with colleagues across teams on an ongoing basis on refining and improving qual methodologies and approaches
• Partner with project management teams for project implementation
• Ensure compliant market research best practices by participating in required adverse event (AE) training, monitoring, and timely reporting of AEs to pharmacovigilance while following strict internal and manufacturer-specific guidelines
• Ensure appropriate logging and management of internal project management portal for current research projects
Educational / Technical
• At least 3-4 years of experience in healthcare-focused qualitative market research and moderating qualitative interviews with HCPs, patients and other life sciences audiences
• Riva or Burke or other moderator training a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent level of training and expertise
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office with focus on PowerPoint and Excel
• Understanding of web and mobile applications, and comfort in learning and using online market research platform (InCrowd Interview, Focusvision Intervu, Visions Live, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills, with a focus on attention to detail and demonstrated commitment to accuracy and completeness of information
• Highly motivated with the ability to adhere to tight deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills And Personal Attributes
• Experience/comfort communicating with HCPs, patients, clients and customers by phone and email
• Excellent business writing skills and verbal skills are non-negotiable
• Experience with MS Office Suite of products (Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Team-oriented and focused mindset
• Proactive, detail-oriented and logical thinking
