Sommer Consulting is seeking a highly self-motivated, professional individual for the full-time position of Research Analyst/Project Manager. As a Sommer Consulting Research Analyst/Project Manager, you will be responsible for client communication, project set-up, managing client deliverables, analyzing qualitative data from interviews and focus groups, and writing initial debriefs and strategic final reports for our clients in Word or PowerPoint. Analysts/Project Managers must be interested in and comfortable with learning and using medical and scientific language and terminology.
The position involves learning the methods and techniques that our firm uses to gather information from physicians, professionals, and consumers via web-based telephone and in-person interviews. This individual may also learn to conduct these interviews, although the primary role and responsibility of the Project Manager is to analyze the information from these interviews to write initial debriefs and final reports in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint for our clients.
Project Managers must have exceptional communication and writing skills, have a keen attention to detail, be initiative-taking with a can-do attitude, and be open to feedback.
Key Responsibilities :
- Organizing the set-up, execution, and management of research projects for our clients in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry

Listening to live interviews for U.S. and Global projects

Collection and organization of data from interviews, including PV events

Writing Screeners and Discussion Guides based on client provided objectives

Analysis of qualitative data

Identification of quotes to include in reporting

Report writing and design 
-
Proofreading and editing 
-
Client liaison and collaboration in the research setting and during follow-ups
Qualifications :
-
3+ years of experience in the market research industry preferred

Bachelor's degree in marketing, psychology, or related field preferred

No prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required, yet an interest in healthcare and a background in market research is desired

Superb writing skills are a must

Must have exceptional communication skills

Must be computer savvy, particularly in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

Must have a keen sense of the graphic design skills needed to construct visually appealing, yet detailed final report presentations in Power Point (average report is 20-30 pages in length)

Must be interested and comfortable learning and using medical and scientific language and terminology

Proven ability to multitask and prioritize workload

The ability to work remotely, independently and in a team environment

Organized, efficient, and proactive with a sense of urgency

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Must demonstrate an initiative-taking and can-do attitude and an openness to feedback
The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000. The position is 100% remote, but will be based in the U.S. As a result, you must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the United States. Company business is generally conducted in Eastern Standard Time.
