Project Manager

Essential Job Functions
Bidding phase:
- Review SOW and provide workload estimates
- Assist in obtaining bids from vendors
- Communicate with vendors and client
- Create timelines
Initial:
- Provide input on survey development, including comparison with previous client studies, as necessary
- Review questionnaire logic and clarify with client
- Provide estimated survey timing
- Transfer previous study/questionnaire content into new documents from client shorthand
- Provide recommendations on quality checks
- Assist in document formatting
- Manage timelines – communication with client and vendors, updating as needed
- Review sampling plan, including comparison with previous client studies, as necessary
Programming:
- Maintain all study documentation, including questionnaire, change log, sampling plan, model/brand lists, translation documents, timeline, etc.
- Serve as point of contact for vendors during programming phase, including communication of all items listed above
- Communicate all updates, clarifications, and edits with client
- Manage survey testing
- Review of simulated test data upon completion of all testing
- Oversee translation process, including communication between translation vendors and client translation reviewers, translation implementation, and country-specific programming
- Supervise quota implementation
Fielding:
- Supervise fielding of soft launch, including review of all soft launch data, and balancing census starts as required
- Ongoing review of data quality throughout fielding
- Quota management
- Panel management
- Monitor studies for complications, proactively overseeing problem identification (making recommendations/implementing logistical fixes)
- Monitor all survey statistics (survey time, dropout/term incidence rates)
Post fielding:
- Communication with data processing on data needs, including data cleaning, file structure, historical client preferences, weighting, and specific client requests
- Ad hoc client requests re: documentation/history of project, data structure, fielding/sampling details
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer 2+ years experience in market research/project management
- Experience both client- and supplier-side
- Experience with online panel research
- Familiarity with various online survey platforms and software such as Decipher and Qualtrics a plus
- Familiarity with SPSS, other data skills
- Excel skills, including the use of functions, pivot tables, advanced sorting, etc.
- Experience with questionnaire design
- Experience with survey testing (testing advanced logic, skip patterns, etc.)
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Requires minimal supervision
- Service oriented with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to see how the details fit into the overall, bigger picture
- Able to work effectively within a team-oriented, highly collaborative environment, and have the ability to work in a virtual environment
- Work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines
- Bachelor or advanced degree in a related field
Must reside in one of the following states: AZ, FL, IL, MN, MS, NM, OH, TN TX, Wi or WV.
