Panel Manager (Analyst) - Toronto
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the day-to-day project work required in managing Vision Critical’s own online Market Panels in the US, UK and Canadian markets (Springboard Panels). Key areas of focus will be in panel analytics, health and quality, panel operations and management, panel communications and engagement, and liaising with other business teams in panelist support, incentive management, client service and research operations.
The candidate will be joining the Market Panels Division, reporting to the Director – Market Panels. The Panel Management team represents the foremost thinking in online panel management, strategy, engagement and quality. The National Panels team is a growing division within the company, offering the candidate will be substantial opportunity for learning and growth, with good prospects for progression based on merit and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the production and execution of panel health and analytics reporting; monitoring and gathering of data indicators; interpret and recommend action based on findings
• Assist with the communication of panel status in terms of health, utilization and overall distribution
• Assist in the execution of scheduled panel maintenance tasks, quality processes and engagement activities
• Project Manage internal surveys for screening and engagement, and ensure profiling information is updated and accessible.
• Monitor panel member support and incentive fulfillment.
• Assist with the development and execution of new initiatives within panel management and analytics
• Act as an internal contact for inquiries about the Market Panels and provide guidance or advice on best practice for execution to operations, research and internal client service teams using the panel for their projects
• Draft panel communications pieces including newsletters, portal content and social media
• Ability to provide assistance or back-up coverage for execution of sampling and feasibility; drawing representative samples and able to run counts using MARSC
• Become proficient with in-house software including Sparq and MARSC (sample management software), and also proficient with Excel and SPSS in the execution of panel reporting
Skills and Requirements
• Educated to post-secondary diploma or degree standard (or has equivalent business experience)
• Professional presentation, high level of customer service, and confident communicator with excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written
• High aptitude for technology, fast to learn and adaptable; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Self-starter with strong time management and organizational abilities; able to set and meet deadlines
• Highly motivated, aptitude for problem solving and trouble shooting, analytically-minded and detail oriented
• Ability to work under pressure and possess a high degree of tenacity
Desirable
• Data Analysis or Market Research Industry experience (specifically online) or demonstrated knowledge (have taken related courses)
• Experience in using a data analysis package such as SPSS or SAS and/or in dealing with large datasets in SPSS, SAS, Access or SQL
