Overview

Global market research firm with a presence in over 80 countries is expanding its branding and reputation business. Company works with elite blue chip clients across a variety of industries. The Director of Research will report to a Vice President and help manage a team in growth mode. At this exciting time, the Director of Research will function as a key contributor to the leadership team of a well-known brand. While not performing a sales role, the Director of Research will be instrumental in facilitating growth and client relationships within the organization.

Responsibilities

- Partner with the Vice President as the key contact on research needs, client requests, and strategy.

- Serve as the point person for global research studies, different lines of business, and turning research/data into actionable insights and implications.

- Manage custom qualitative and quantitative studies, including brand trackers, brand equity, customer satisfaction, etc.

- Present research findings to upper level clients.

- 5+ years of broad custom qualitative and quantitative market research experience, ideally from a supplier, public affairs firm, political polling company, or consultancy.

- Experience in delivering client presentations and managing staff.

- Ability to manipulate data to derive insights and make strategic recommendations.

- Intellectual curiosity and an analytical mind.

- Experience in segmentation, branding studies, and B2B is a plus.

- Ideal candidate will bring experience in corporate reputation and in working at a supplier, consultancy, or Consumer Packaged Goods company.
