The Client Strategy, VP/SVP is a business savvy market researcher with a propensity for cultivating client relationships and driving revenue growth. As senior member of the Client Strategy team, this role will oversee and be responsible for the health and growth of at least one strategic account at KJT, among other accounts. Oversight will include setting strategy for the growth and success of the account, establishing rapport with procurement and clients across the client’s business and ensuring deliverables are meeting the expectations of the client. Oversight of an account team of other Client Strategy members will also be key to your role, ensuring the workload is spread evenly and working collectively to respond to RFPs in a strategic, thoughtful manner. Day-to-day project management is only a small portion of the role and only on key strategic initiatives; however ensuring strategic recommendations and value are delivered on each study is a key responsibility.

Essential Duties:
- Uncover opportunities to add value within existing client accounts and partners with designated Strategic Growth colleagues to increase sales. Achieve this by continuously engaging with clients to drive opportunities through the purchase funnel using a “needs based” approach
- Cultivate relationships with existing clients for referrals
- Combine consultative selling and active listening skills with market research experience and health care industry knowledge, to distill client requirements into actionable and realistic RFP responses and proposals
- Actively monitors the market research and health care industry landscape to identify trends and educate leadership and internal teams
- Bring healthcare industry understanding and context to the client relationship, including strategic and tactical client recommendations based on a deep understanding of the client’s own business strategies and operating environment
- Lead compelling proposals that demonstrate outstanding research design to meet client needs within applicable constraints
- Review all final reports and deliverables to ensure a strategic-level delivery of all engagements
- For key strategic initiatives, lead project initiation in the form of a design meeting between client and project team and drives internal requirements to ensure client expectations remain top of mind, maintain intimate knowledge of project progress throughout its life cycle to detect and bridge communication gaps, mitigate risk and advocate on the client’s behalf, and remain in constant communication and partnership throughout the sales and delivery process, enabling strategic and tactical penetration (growth) into prospect existing client accounts

- Proven success generating revenue by selling market research services

- Able to sell innovative solutions and demonstrates a strong command of research methodologies and ability to develop custom integrated solutions
- Proven practical experience with a wide array of market research solutions, including new product, brand, advertising, and customer satisfaction solutions.
Education/Experience:
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (business, economics, sociology, political science, psychology).
- 7 to 10 years of professional experience in a market research role, with at least 5 years’ experience in a professional client service capacity.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant industry/sector experience in healthcare market research
Information Security Management
The person in this role is responsible for being at all times compliant with the KJT Group Information Security Policy and all other policies, processes and documentation which relates to information security within KJT Group.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have expert proficiency with:
- Expert proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat Suite of tools.
