A recent study involving over 75 in-depth interviews explored and synthesized powerful techniques gleaned from client-side research leaders to get to the root of the real business problems research has to address. That study, “The Four Rs of Research: Risk, Results, Revenue and Return,” conducted by Research Innovation and ROI Inc. in partnership with Quirk’s, found that only 20 percent of corporate research departments have a system for linking marketing research to business outcomes.
