Ipsos has acquired Australian public sector research company Whereto Research.

ACKWEST Group has acquired Precision Sample from parent company Toluna. The transaction supports ACKWEST’s expansion of its portfolio of first-party data solutions. 

Survey operations company OpinionRoute has acquired survey programming company Jibunu to deepen its market presence. Jibunu Founder Ken Berry will serve as SVP, strategic partnerships, OpinionRoute.

Research company Vista Grande has acquired innovation and growth consultancy GameChanger Products to expand its shopper insights portfolio with real-world testing expertise.

Mediaocean has completed the acquisition of advertising and measurement platform Innovid, bringing it together with Flashtalking to create an ad tech platform.

Digital presence platform Yext has acquired SEO and location intelligence platform Places Scout to strengthen its ability to offer competitive intelligence, benchmarking and AI-powered insights.

Alliances/strategic partnerships 

Behavioral research company EyeSee has partnered with behavioral insight agency Veylinx to strengthen its behavioral research capabilities with transactional insights.

Paramount Global and Nielsen have signed a multiyear deal. The partnership includes measurement for all Paramount platforms including national and local broadcast, all cable networks and streaming on Paramount+ and Pluto TV. Paramount has licensed new Nielsen services as part of the agreement. 

Holden Healthcare has added health care research company Krea to its Asia Physician Panel Alliance to strengthen its presence in India and to improve access to health care insights across Asia.

Dunnhumby has created a strategic partnership with behavioral AI predictions and automation company Synerise to advance the future of retail through technology, insights and activation.

Nielsen and Graham Media Group have signed a multiyear agreement for local TV measurement across six markets.

Nielsen has partnered with media and entertainment company JioStar to provide analytics solutions for its OTT platform JioHotstar ahead of the Tata Indian Premier League 2025.

Research company earnings/financial news

Consumer research company GetWhy has raised $8.4 million in financing from CIBC to continue to execute its growth strategy.

Data collaboration platform LiveRamp has released its financial results for the fiscal 2025 third quarter reporting total revenue of $195 million, up 12%, and subscription revenue of $146 million.

Digital analytics platform Amplitude has released its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2024 financial results reporting revenue of $78 million for its fourth quarter. It also reported an annual recurring revenue of $312 million and revenue of $299 million for its fiscal year.

Behavioral data company Behavix has closed a $2.5 million seed funding round led by Nordic venture capital firms Vendep Capital and Superhero Capital.
